Domestic Cleaning in Edinburgh

Someone YWS has vetted — reference-checked before their first job, then reviewed after every visit. Cleaning is done by our own in-house team; the trades are done by specialists we work with under a written agreement. Either way you deal with YWS throughout: one number, one invoice, and nobody passes your job on.

Cancellations and reschedules are reviewed case by case — we keep what we've already charged in most cases of cancellation, and we work with you to find a new date if you need to reschedule. Book more than 14 days ahead and you get a 14-day cooling-off period.

Up to you. Most customers give us a key, a code, or arrange for a neighbour to be in. If you'd rather be present, pick your time slot when you book and we'll confirm your arrival window before the day.

Cleaning is paid in full when you book, which reserves your slot. For quote-only work we send you a price first, and you pay once we've agreed the scope. Either way, card details go straight to our payment processor — we never see the long card number.

Tell us within 48 hours and we'll re-do the work free of charge, or refund the rest of the job in full — your choice. Nobody gets paid until you've signed off.

For cleaning, yes — we bring kit, sprays, hoover. For deep-clean and end-of-tenancy, all materials and machinery are included. For trades (plumbing, electrical, handyman, etc.) we bring our own tools; we confirm any material costs with you before we buy.

We work across mainland UK — England, Wales and Scotland. Lead time is usually same-day or next-day in major cities, 2-3 days elsewhere. Not sure whether we cover your area? Ask us and we'll tell you honestly.

No. Most customers give us a key, code, or smart-lock access — we'll lock up and leave it exactly as we found it.

Yes — we arrive with professional kit and eco-friendly products. If you prefer us to use your own, just let us know.
